Healthy Granola Cup Breakfast:


Granola cup for breakfast filled with Greek yoghurt and berries

Breakfast is always a messy business. People tend to ignore breakfast or have an unhealthy one even though it is the most important meal of the day. I am going to show you how to make a healthy and delicious breakfast made with granola. You can pre-prepare a number of granola cups and store them in air tight containers for instant use later. You can use any brand of  granola but I recommend Lizi’s granola because of its excellent taste and slow energy release property.




Take two measuring cups of Lizi’s granola to make six granola cups from them. Gently crush the granola with hands or a spoon.


Pour some light honey then add salt and sugar. After mixing them add warm water and vanilla. The mixture will be sticky which is easy to give shape on the mould.


Grease the pan with a bit of oil then put the equal portion of the granola on each mould. With a spoon give a cup shape to the mixture. Then put them in to the fridge for 30 minutes. Bake them at 175°c for 15 to 20 minutes until they become light dark brown.



Granola cups will look like this after bringing them out from the oven and left to cool down completely.


You can put any toppings you like on top of the granola cups. I choose to fill the them with Greek yoghurt with raspberry and blue berry on top.









Ingredients (for six granola cups)
 Lizi’s Granola 2 cups
 Light honey 3 table spoon
 Salt half tea spoon
 Sugar 1 table spoon
 Vanilla extract 2 tea spoon
 Warm water 3 table spoon

 Greek yoghurt one and half table spoon per cup or more if you prefer
 Raspberries as much as you want
 Blue berries as much as you want

Here we need a cupcake baking pan.

 Preheat oven to 175°c.
 Bring out the Lizi’s granola from the packet (I used the passion fruit pistachio flavour today) and take two cups of them to make six granola cups for breakfast.
 Slightly crush them with your hand or anything to make them slightly crushed. Then add honey and sprinkle sugar and salt. Then add warm water over the granola mix. Mix it with spoon or hand properly. Then add vanilla extract. Mix them well. Put them in the fridge for 30 minutes.
In the meantime grease the cup cakepan with bit of oil and equally distribute granola on each mould. Then make it even with a spoon by pressing them gently down. Put them into the oven for 15 to 20 minutes on 175°c. When the granola cups turn into lightly dark brown, bring them out and rest until they cool down. At this point we can store them in an airtight jar for upto 7 to 10 days. Eat them with Greek yoghurt and raspberries and blue berries for a healthy breakfast and slow energy release throughout the day.
